The Pierre-Henri Ginglinger estate in Eguisheim, a family history for 12 generations

The Ginglinger family has been cultivating vines in Eguisheim with passion and attention to detail since 1610... no less than 12 generations!

Today, the Pierre-Henri Ginglinger estate cultivates 15 hectares of vines, in which the 7 Alsatian grape varieties are distributed. Our parcels are spread over 3 communes: Eguisheim, Herrlisheim and Wuenheim.

Growing the vines in different locations allows us to reveal the uniqueness of each soil type. And it is this diversity of terroirs that gives us the opportunity to produce expressive and qualitative wines.

We produce a range of wines with an assertive style with white and red wines as well as Crémant d'Alsace. We particularly like to imagine original creations such as natural wines, daring blends or even a hand-made crémant. We are also proud to work our vines on 3 exceptional Grand Crus, namely Pfersigberg, Eichberg and Grand Cru Ollwiller.

Organic vineyard management, a philosophy since 2001

Any good winemaker can tell you: " To have a good wine, you need good grapes. Mathieu Ginglinger has turned this quote into a philosophy. Organic vineyard management has been a guiding principle since 2001.

This translates into a well thought-out and assertive cultivation process. All herbicides are banned in favour of exclusively organic fertilisers. Natural grass cover is present in every other row, and the other row is ploughed. In this way, we avoid any pollution and protect the flora and fauna.
